Since it's sunday I decided on a lazy and easy outfit. When I came home from church I quickly popped on my new slippers from Primark, they are the moest comfertable things that have ever touched my feet! And only €3,- ! The top I bought hasn't disappointed me either, it's nice and you don't have to dress it up since it's yellow and has those cute little lines ans buttons, perfect for on a lazy day!
It was hard finding a nice place in my house to take pictures and my camera isn't the best one for taking pictures on your own: I had to go back after every picture to push the button.. Which isn't really an exciting to do.. So I did get lazy with taking the pictures, I will try to find a better place in my house soon, but I figured I should just upload those pictures anyway, got to give you something to see!

I NOW HAVE A CAMERA ALL FOR MYSELF.

I'm going to cry tonight. I'm seeing Harry Potter this night! part one and two. I can not wait.

Decided to do a little nail tutorial! You only need three polishes and you can pick the colours yourself.
First of all you start with a base coat, for this I used the Miss Sporty, lasting colour. When that's dry you top it with a nice and light colour (I used the Catrice, Blue or Green?). Make sure to leave some open space between the beginning of your nail and your skin, so you can paint three small dots in there. (Dots made by using a skewer.) You see this in the second picture.
When that's dry you can go over the ends of your nails with your last colour (where I used the brown one). Use a skewer to make the lines and dots over your nails and you're finished! enjoy your nails. (:

So I finally did it! I first had to get the balls to do it myself, but when I finally got those and went to the store, they didn't have a highlighting kit or a bleach! So disappointing! But when I went to holiday in America I found a nice bleach which I bought and brought home with me. I had never dyed my hair before, so I didn't have a clue what to do. I didn't add enough to my hair so it's not really really visible, but I do see a difference, even though it's a small one. I'm really happy I did it though, but I should've bought another bleach in the USA..

Hey and welcome to my brand new blog, Papilionidae! Time for an introduction:

Who? I'm Joëlle (Jo-ella), 16 years old and living in The Netherlands. Where I live we don't have many good stores, so it's hard to find nice clothes, but I try my best with the things I got!

What? I made this blog to share my style with everyone online, because I always enjoy reading other blogs, I figured it would be nice to give it a try myself. I'm hoping to post 'outfit of the days' and photos of things I recently bought, so a little haul. I'll also post little personal posts, but not too many of those.

When? I started Papilionidae on the first of July 2011, even though I've been following blogs since forever and I've been wanting to do this for the longest time, but I turn out to be quite the lazy person...

Where? I'm living in a small city half an hour away from Amsterdam, in a lovely house with my parents. Both my brother and sister have moved out, so I'm kind of an only child now, but I'm hoping to move out next year aswell, as I'll be doing my exams this year! Scary!

Why? To share my love for fashion! Also to be able to chat with lovely people on here and to show my style and hopefully improve my style. I also thought it would be nice to have something fun to do when I don't know what to do. I hope I won't get lazy with this!
